The 13th Food and Wine Festival.
Can you believe that 2013 will see the 13th Food and Wine festival at the Epcot Park at Disneyworld? And each year it seems to get better and better; this year, for instance, Scotland will be strutting their stuff (or swinging their kilts) for the first time ever.
The festival encompasses several different events and these are the well loved Marketplace of food samplings, food and wine seminars, dining with the chefs, food and wine seminars and of course the Eat to the Beat concert series.
There will be over 76 different foods to sample and these will cost under $5 each. They will serve a mind boggling one point two million of these mini plates.
The foods will come from all round the World and believe me, it is a difficult choice to make. The portions are small enough for you to try several different dishes during the day
Thirty thousand bottles of food and wine will be quaffed over the 46 days.
Seven hundred and fifty thousand beers will be downed.
One hundred and fifty top chefs will attend to share their knowledge.
One hundred and thirty five Eat to the Beat concerts will be performed. Do not miss the concert, you may be surprised to hear of the top names they attract. Details are due out in about a month from now.
The Epcot Food and Wine Festival will run for 46 days from 30th of september to the 11th of november which will mean that many of you will be over to visit at least once.
The admission to the festival is free with your general Epcot ticket but some elements of the show do attract an extra cost.
Best place to buy your Epcot (and indeed all of the attraction tickets) is by using the link at the top of the page.
The food and wine festival will be running side by side for most of its time with the magical Not Very Scary Halloween party over at The Magic Kingdom so a really good time to be in Florida.
