The Reserve at Town Center Resort
As the name suggests,
The Reserve at Town Center Resort is a small, exclusive, gated community. The 94 detached, single storey homes that make up The Reserve are finished in soft pastel colours, and the roads are lined with palm trees, to create that holiday feeling immediately you drive up the 400 yards long, tree lined driveway and through the imposing gates.
The community is set in a conservation area and is built along the banks of a lake. The water retention pond in the centre ensures that all but four or five homes back on to either water or conservation. This creates a very private and relaxing environment that is great to come back to after a busy day at the theme parks or shopping.
The Reserve was completed in 2003 and is part of a continuing development at Town Center East in Davenport, at the southern end of Old Lake Wilson Road. Other communities in the Town Center East development are The Village at Town Center and Terrace Ridge. Whereas
The Reserve is totally made up of detached single storey homes with private pools, The Village and Terrace Ridge are both condo resorts with communal pools, club houses, games rooms and fitness centre. It is anticipated that further development of the site will see Town Center East stretch down all the way to Old Lake Wilson Road.
Town Center East is situated half a mile from the soon to be completed Reunion Resort with its three top quality golf courses designed by Tom Watson, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. The courses feature some very large bunkers and great water hazards. There is a wonderful clubhouse where you can enjoy fabulous food or a cool drink, and with luxury villas, town houses and condos winding their way between the fairways, greens and lakes, this is a wonderful setting for a day’s golf.
Just three miles away is the impressive Champions Gate complex, with its two championship golf courses designed by Greg Norman. It is also the headquarters of the world famous David Leadbetter Golf Academies. The complex also includes a retail centre that includes a Publix supermarket, shops, restaurants, a bank and a filling station.
The Reserve is situated in the ideal location for easy access to Orlando’s major attractions, being less than 10 minutes drive from the south western edge of the “Theme Park Corridor”. Enter the I-4 at Champions Gate and head east. You will find Celebration and WDW Magic Kingdom at the first exit. Continuing east, it is just one attraction after the other ……… Hollywood Studios, Epcot Center, Dixie Stampede, Sea World, Wet & Wild, Universal Studios, and many, many more.
So as you can see,
The Reserve really does give you the best of both worlds - a quiet, relaxing community but so near to all the attractions.
