What’s so Magical about Magic Kingdom Part 6
Well I have covered most of the areas of the Orlando Magic Kingdom Park in my last few articles but for the finale I move onto the area called Adventure Land and my number one favourite ride of all time in Magic Kingdom is the Pirates of the Caribbean
I can remember the very first time we rode on this brilliant ride it was long before the Pirates of the Caribbean films starring Jonny Depp and Captain Jack Sparrow, and It was still very much like the ride today but with the advent of the ever successful films it has been updated to incorporate the characters we all know and love
You will still hear the classic ' Yo Ho, Yo Ho, a Pirates Life for Me, ' song and the eerie “dead Man tell no tales” voic , the kids always loved this ride and I have to admit it is still as good today as all those years ago and all time favourite.
Another big favourite of mine is the classic Jungle Cruise which is a river boat safari through the jungle , my wife doesn’t really understand why I like this ride so much to be honest, but I still reckon it’s a great ride which is often overlooked by most people visiting Magic Kingdom
Maybe because of where it’s situated it’s easy to miss it as you walk on by unless there is a big queue waiting to ride it but that never really seems the case and it can be a great last ride on the way back to the transportation to the car etc.
This ride is pretty funny and depending on how good your tour guide or captain on the boat is it will be funny or hilarious as its all down to their acting of the part which really makes this ride
You’re led deeper and deeper into the jungle past lots of ancient ruins with lots of surprises to make you jump when your least expecting i , will you see the hippo’s and are there really head hunters out there, keep your eyes peeled and your wits about you !
Last but not least I have to mention Tortuga Tavern although it’s not often that we eat in the Disney parks other than ice cream we always have lunch at Tortuga Tavern because we love their huge Tacos salads and the burritos they serve making a nice change from the normal hot dog and hamburgers sold in many of the parks.
Well that’s it for Magic Kingdom it is the most special of all the parks because it was the first and has the original characters it is indeed a magical place. It doesn’t matter what age you are, there is something for everyone at the MAGIC KINDOM.
