A shopping treat at Mall at Millenia
If you are looking for a shopping experience you will never forget, fit in a visit the Mall at Millenia during your stay in Orlando.
The Mall is located at junction 78 of the interstate 4 (I 4) so is easy to find.
The first time we visited this mall I was completely overawed as I had never seen a shopping mall like it! It certainly outshines anything we have here in the UK
The mall is spotlessly presented and so clean it shines! The central areas are carpeted (yes really! ) and there are leather sofas provided for shoppers to relax a while! There are two grand pianos, one at either end of the mall and the pianists are dressed in dinner jackets. The music is a pleasure to hear and makes perfect background music whilst you shop.
Many of the stores are upmarket designer names. Examples are: Jimmy Choo (a real treat girls! ), Gucci, Dior, Cole Haan, Cartier and Tiffany’s (another treat for the girls! ). There are many other well known names too such as Body Shop, Apple, Crabtree and Evelyn and more besides! Check out the Mall at Millenia website for a full list.
There are also department stores and one worth of note is Macy’s. The extra buying power of the dollar for British travellers is made even better at Macy’s! Before you start shopping, head for the customer services area and show your passport and you get a discount card which lasts for 30 days! Well worth it – particularly if you are shopping when Macy’s are having a sale! The card can also be used at other Macy’s stores – so you may also want to visit the one in the Florida Mall.
If you want to stop for a coffee or for lunch there is a food court which provides a number of options with communal seating. Should you decide you want something a bit more special then try the Cheesecake Factory restaurant. We stupidly didn’t try this on our first few visits as I assumed (wrongly! ) that it was just selling cheesecakes! The meals are delicious and there is plenty of choice – but of course topped by a selection of more cheesecakes than you could ever imagine for your desert! Definitely a time to take advantage of the carry out box to take some home!
The Mall at Millenia is located on Conroy Road and can literally be seen from junction 78 of the I 4.
The opening hours are:
10am to 9 pm Monday to Saturday
12 midday to 7pm on Sunday
