Kissimmee & St Cloud Farmers Market
Situated east of Kissimmee heading towards St Cloud on the US192, it is open on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If you love a flea market then this is the place to go. With over 900 stalls all covered, this is the place to get those vegetables and fruit for your Sunday Lunch.
Local farmers sell their produce fresh to customers but that’s not all, everything you can think of is on sale here. We couldn’t believe just how many stalls there are to see. Even though a little unorganised for my liking.
Fresh Fruit and Vegetables, Clothes for all ages and size, Toys and Gifts, Furniture for your home, Livestock, Pets (including every type of exotic bird you can think of). Bedding, Towels, Artwork, Computer Equipment, Computer Games
As every market, this is one of the places for locals to meet and catch up, a friendly feel and everyone is welcome. Fancy a bite to eat? Then they can help. A game of Bingo maybe? Yep, they do that too! What about a sing a long? Oh yes, there’s a Karaoke Bar also included. In fact it is probably the best one we’ve visited in Kissimmee in the last 9 years. No pushy ticket sellers like you get in some markets.
Most of the items on sale are cheap and cheerful. So it’s a great place to pick up a bargain but remember to check the quality before you buy. Prices for the same item can vary quite a lot from one side of the market to the other. If you’re a bargain hunter, then don’t miss this market. My brother visits here with out fail on every trip to Florida and loves it.
It’s a great place to find them unusual items you see in some homes and always wondered where they got them from. The children will love it and will no doubt find some little gadget that they want, so remember your wallet or purse. There is even a barbers shop, so you can go for your hair cutting whilst the rest of the family are playing bingo or singing their favourite song on the Karaoke.
To find this market, head East on the US192 out of Kissimmee. As you get to the Osceola Heritage Centre you are about a mile away. It is situated on the Left hand side of the road just after the flyover for the Florida Turnpike. Parking is free and there is plenty of it.
