What’s so great about Epcot 5
So we successfully landed back on earth our mission completed, so what' s next? What could possibly beat a trip into space and back, well probably the best ever ride in Epcot well definitely the best for the boys in your party anyway.
Test Track is one of the new rides in Epcot and has to be one of the best in my view maybe it' s because I am a man, let' s face it what man doesn' t like a ride that got some thing to do with driving or cars. Even as you work your way through the queue for this ride us guys will love it and the queue snakes its way through a nice big workshop with lots of tools and snap on tool boxes etc. , there are also a number of informative crash dummy video and working exhibits to show how car design uses high tech to keep cars and pedestrians safe.
Soon you are at the front of the queue and are ushered into an area where the vehicle car test facilities team of supervisors talk to you via video link of the number and type of tests your vehicle will perform.
Up to six people can be accommodated in the testing vehicle and once in makes sure you buckle up firmly, soon you are off and travel through a number of test of extreme heat and cold, climbing steep inclines and sharp braking with and without Abs systems beware though you will get thrown about in these tests.
Soon it' s time for the speed tests and let' s face it this is what we are all waiting for, you enter into the sunlight onto the test track which runs around the outside of the test track building up in the air, you vehicle will accelerate and start its run, I have to say it does feel really fast and you can feel the G Forces forcing you down in your seat as you reach speeds of up to 65mph.
This is the really fun part whizzing around the outside of the building high up in the air is great fun its sadly all too soon before it' s over, but the funs not over yet you exit into a car show room which has a number of concept and regular road vehicles from Chevrolet for you to look at and sit in etc including a Hummer.
