Wet n Wild
Located just five minutes from Universal Studios, Wet n Wild is quickly becoming Orlando’s best water park. With over thirty rides for all different ages it has something for everyone.
The Bomb Bay. Guests enter a bomb like capsule only to feel the floor drop from beneath them to a 76 foot near vertical slide. This ride is definitely not for the faint hearted but is a real experience if you dare to go on it. You must be at least 48” tall to ride.
Wet n Wild’s newest attraction, Disco H2O takes riders on a thrilling multi passenger journey through a 1970’s enclosed aqua night-club. Once inside you will find yourself surrounded by music, lights and disco balls. This is a great ride but the queues can get very long.
The Black Hole is a two person raft that sends riders on a thirty second run away journey through 500 feet of twisting, turning darkness. This is one of the best rides at Wet n Wild. I love it!
The Blast is a fun twisting multi passenger open tube which will get you very wet. As you ride down the tube you will pass under numerous water falls and be blasted by water cannons. A really great ride that ends with a final waterfall plunge.
The Flyer, seated in eight foot long toboggans, this exhilarating ride sends guests racing through over 450 feet of banked curves as it circles above the park, spiralling downwards. This ride is very much a family ride but not the most thrilling.
The Surge is another multi-passenger family raft that takes riders on a 600 feet ride through numerous curves. With lots of twisting and turning but not much else it is a fun ride for all the family.
Blue Niagra is 300 feet of interwinding tubes, looping together and twisting from six stories above the park and concluding with a splash landing. Sound lovely and relaxing, but watch out, it is in total darkness.
Bubba Tub is one for all the family. Ride on a raft down a six storey, triple dip slide in a big tube that holds four people. Watch out at the bottom for the splash landing!
Mach 5 has three different flumes for you to choose from. Totalling 1700 feet of twisting and turning over these 3 different courses. Not the best ride at the park, so I wouldn’t spend too long queuing.
Hydra Fighter is a unique ride to Wet n Wild, where guests create their own experience. Seated back to back in swings that are equipped with water cannons that control how high and fast the swing goes. This is one of the most popular rides, so be prepared to wait
These are just a few of the rides you can experience at Wet n Wild. There is much, much more on offer and you will definitely not get it all done in one day. Well worth buying a ticket that gives you unlimited entrance over a 14 day period. You will want to go back again and again.
