The Market St Gallery Celebration. Part 1
Orlando is full of retail opportunities, the theme park stores, Downtown Disney, the outlet Malls and of course The Florida Mall to name but a few. However, if you are looking for gift, not necessarily a holiday souvenir, and want something quirky or unusual, then why not try The Market Street Gallery in Celebration? This double fronted store is situated, as its name might suggest, on Market Street with plenty of parking in the locality. It is an absolute gem!
Opening the door to this shop is like opening the door to Aladdin’s Cave, and the experience is different every trip! In a single section of the shop there are greetings cards of every nature; Birthday, Christmas, special occasions, 3 dimensional cards, singing cards, cards left blank for your own sentiments, and of course the humorous section where you will find couples or groups (usually women! ) laughing at their contents! Here you will also find candles and their holders, wall plaques with humorous and sentimental slogans and various other stationery items; memo pads, note paper, shopping list pads with magnetic attachments, all on good quality paper in a variety of colours and designs.
Moving through to the main part of the shop brings you to a selection of “Suzy Toronto” gifts to inspire laughter amongst your mums, daughters and girlfriends. There are cards, drinks mats and napkins, quirky margarita glasses and many other unique gifts. Some emblazoned with slogans such as, “When life becomes a rollercoaster sit in the front seat, lift up your arms and enjoy the ride! ” or “Anyone who says they don’t need a girlfriend hasn’t found a good one yet! ”
Away from the Suzy Toronto collection you will also find novelty teapots, salt and pepper shakers and more one of a kind gifts.
The jewellery section features colourful clay beads with matching earrings and bracelets, each one individual in its design. There is a selection of unique and beautiful costume jewellery, some glitzy and sparkly, some simply elegant. The twenty something in our family loves the large, colourful resin rings that can be found here and several are purchased every trip at very reasonable prices. The staff in the shop are more than happy to open the glass cabinets so that you can try on the jewellery and if needed, will help you in making your selection and ensuring that any selections are beautifully and carefully wrapped for transport home. They are always happy to hold on to any intended purchase whilst you continue browsing this beautiful store.
