Pauls Florida diary day 6
Day 6
I woke this morning a little later than on previous days and I was informed were all going shopping today to the Florida Mall, now don’t get me wrong I like a little shopping when in Florida indeed I have to say I do like a bargain but I decided I wasn’t that bothered about visiting a mall as we have got Meadowhall shopping Mall at home so I graciously declined.
So I was on for a nice chill out day, the sun was out the pool was crystal clear and I had this diary to catch up with, we had been so busy with going out and about that I had fallen several days behind and needed to get on top of the diary although I had made a few rough notes each day of the highlights
So I put on pot of coffee and started to type up the diary I have to admit that I found I had lots more things to put into this diary that I first thought and so most days have been split into several parts otherwise they would be too long.
After a few pages I took a dip in the gorgeous pool and thought I made the best choice today I am not sure why would you want to be trapesing around a mall on such a sunny day like today, (but each to their own) although rain had been given out none materialised
The happy but tired shoppers soon arrived home and after a quick dip in the pool decided it was time for some dinner after a discussion we decided to visit TGI Fridays which was a great choice as it is probably my all time favourite food place
Now its been around 4 years since I last visited Florida and things have changed, I was expecting a long wait at TGI but to my surprise we were seated almost immediately and was soon drinking a nice 20oz Blue Moon Belgium Wheat Beer
I had already decided before I got there what I was having as my favourite dish of Rib eye Steak and shrimp with the signature TGI Jack Daniels sauce which I have to say was excellent, everyone had a steak including Shirley who had a flat iron which she stated was probably the best steak she had ever had along with one she had had at longhorn on a previous visit, now I can tell you if Shirley says a steak is good then it really is good!
TGI is still my favourite all around place to eat service was great and very tasty quality food
