Our Three favorite Steak Houses
These are 3 of our favourite Steak houses.
The First is by far the best for my husband and myself and that is
Mannys ChophouseMannys chophouse is situated on Hwy 27. From the start of Hwy 192 you go south on Hwy27 about 14 /15 miles, you go past Wal-Mart through the lights and Mannys is on the right hand side
Whilst Mannys is famous for their Steaks the Ribs, pork chops and chicken are all very good.
You start with a large bowl of salad with warn rolls served with regular and cinnamon butter. When it is brought to your table you are asked if you want it tossing I can recommend you allow them to do this as once it is coated with their own dressing it is fantastic
Your next choice is what you have for your main course. I can highly recommend the New York strip or the pork chop (you can have either one or two chops)
The mains come with either garlic mash. Rice and beans (my favourite) baked potato, sweet potato, fries or veggies
I can guarantee you will not have room for dessert
Mannys also have happy hour until 7pm where drinks are two for one
The second choice for me is
Longhorn SteakhouseOne location is on Hwy 192 near to the New Super Target store at the side of the Hwy 429
Longhorn is also a good steakhouse but we have found it is a bit more expensive than Mannys but still very good value
They also serve a fresh salad as a starter but are an individual salad and served with a dressing of your choice, you also get delicious bread here last time we were there we got two types of bread one was honey wheat and the other was dark bread
My Favourite is Outlaw rib eye it is an 18oz steak but it does have a bone in. My Husband often has the BBQ baby back Ribs he only gets the half rack as he said with the accompaniments it is very filling.
They also do fantastic desserts my favourite is the longhorn sampler, this is three smaller desserts on one plate they consist of a piece of choc cake . cheesecake and caramel apple gold rush.
The third is
Outback SteakhouseThis is a themed Australian steak house and was always our favourite until Mannys and Longhorn opened and for all its still a good steakhouse it comes third in our choice
Here you get a great salad to start or excellent soup I particularly like the Caesar Salad. this is served with Black bread and I can only describe this as a malty type bread
I almost always have the chicken on the Barbie but my husband does like the outback special we almost always have the veggies as they are done exactly as I like them but they may not be for everyone as they are very lightly cooked
There are other choices of side dishes like baked and sweet potato.
They do also have chicken other cuts of steak Fish and again Ribs
But I have to say Outback does have the best dessert (Chocolate thunder from down under) this is awesome
All these restaurants also have a takeout menu
I do hope I have given you a taste for these restaurants and you enjoy them as much as we do
