My Favorite Restaurant. - No 2.
One of my favourite restaurants in Orlando, Florida is the Ponderosa Steakhouse. My family and I have been visiting this restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner for many years as we simply love the food and the service. The one we visit is located on the I4 between road markers 4 and 5.
When you enter you will choose what food and drinks you family will be having. A tip I wish to share is that the buffet is free once you have ordered a main meal which can be the same price as the buffet alone, therefore meaning that the ordered meal is technically for free. My favourite dish is the ‘Sirloin Tips’ which is small chunks of steak cook to your preference, served with onions, mushrooms and a jacket potato.
You then have free rein of the buffet. My sister is in love with the soup served at Ponderosa as she cannot compare it to any soup we have been able to find in England. The buffet will always stock fruit, vegetables, salad, pasta, spaghetti, bolognaise, chicken, and will serve a variety of other different foods each day. For dessert there is also many different choices of cakes, buns, brownies, cookies, jellies and mousses which are all homemade and delicious.
Ponderosa Steakhouse also puts on a lovely breakfast spread. This works the same way that you can order a set meal or simply opt for the buffet option. The breakfast buffet contains a wide variety of cereals, plenty of fruits and all ingredients to make a Full English Breakfast; such as sausages, egg (3 ways), bacon, baked beans, potato hash, mushrooms etc. they also serve sweet treats such as cookies, buns, jelly and, of course, ice cream!
One other benefit of this restaurant is the adjoining gift shop. Once you have finished with your meal you can enter the gift shop through the back of the restaurant. One perk is that you can take your receipt to the gift shop counter to receive a free gift! This large shop also stocks many different souvenirs and a large clothing range that is well suited for Florida, with the famous Disney characters being featured on many gifts which are perfect gifts to give to friends at home. The shop also has one further shop attached which sells a wide variety of bags and luggage which is also worth a look
