One of the easiest ways is on eating out. In Orlando you can eat some of the very best food at very cheap establishments. For example, a really good steak with all the trimmings (more in fact than you could possible eat in one sitting) can cost as little as $12. 99 per head plus drinks. If you stick to soft drinks, like colas or coffee, they will give you free top ups.

If you think a restaurant looks a bit down market, trust me, you will get some of the beast steaks or fish in these restaurants as this is where the locals eat. There is a very good Chinese, all you can eat, buffet restaurant which only charges $10. 99 per person. Not only do they serve Chinese food, but pasta, sushi, English roast meats, choices of children’s meals plus plenty of fresh fruits, ice cream and desserts.

A good way of saving money on food, is to have a really good substantial breakfast at your villa before leaving for the parks then just have snacks like ice creams or popcorn during the day, which will save you money on pricy theme park food.

If you don’t buy any shopping in the UK for your holiday, then you will save a fortune by buying it when you arrive. Clothes and toiletries are much, much cheaper in America. Sun creams are a great deal cheaper too. I have never bought a pair of shoes or many clothes at all in the UK since buying our villa in Florida. Almost my entire wardrobe comes from America. This winter I bought UGG boots at less than half the price of ones sold in the UK.

Opt for the cheapest economy car rental that you can manage with as this will save you money. It may be nice to swan about in a big open top car in the glorious sunshine, but it will cost a lot more.
Instead of going to an expensive water theme park, why not take a picnic to one of the many beaches on the East or West coast. This will only take about an hour to an hour and a half to get there and the long stretches of golden sands are wonderful.

So you can have the holiday of a life time and not have it cost the earth.
