Gramping is the new big thing
“Gramping” is the new big thing and if you consider the advantages it' s no surprise!
' Gramping ' is where three generations of an extended family decide to holiday together and it’s got some great advantages over holidaying alone.
So why could it be right for you.
Firstly it can be amazingly good value. You can get a luxury holiday even during school holidays at a bargain price. In the current economic climate why say no to a great offer?
It' s great for parents as they have some help with the child care. They can go out and enjoy that romantic candle lit diner safe in the knowledge that the kid are in great hands.
It' s wonderful for the Grand parents as they get to spend some quality time with their extended family and reinforce the close bonds.
It' s also comforting to know that you have loved ones around to help should there be any health issues.
If you don' t want to spend the whole holiday together then why not have some time to yourself first and then get the rest of the family to join you. This is a great way for “Snowbird” to to share the cost of their winter retreat.
Alternatively why not try it for a long weekend and see if it’s for your family. You can then consider if you’d like to extend the concept to your main holiday.
Sold on the idea so where is the perfect location.
In my opinion Orlando is the ideal place for “Gramping” as there are so many wonderful activities to keep all the generations happy.
The theme and water parks, the sports events, the marvelous golfing courses, the concerts the shops and fine restaurants plus the Gulf and Atlantic coasts in easy reach.
Vitally there is also a supply of privately owned luxury vacation villa’s that will provide the ideal accommodation for such a holiday.
The villa' s have all the luxury of home there own private swimming pools and plenty of space in which to relax. Typically they have two master bedrooms so the adults have their privacy and additional twin bedrooms for the kids. So why not book a villa you’ll be delighted you did.
They can also be incredible good value for an extended family as you pay for the villa not the number of guests.
So what are you waiting for book today? With Harry Potter the new Legoland and all that wonderful Florida sun there has never been a better time to visit.
