My Favourite Disney Park Part 2
OK so in my last article I started to change my mind after stating the Epcot was my favourite Disney Park to visit and now it’s Magic Kingdom!
One of the main reasons that Magic Kingdom is my favourite Disney park has to be to do with the fact that it was the original park that was built and because of that it has a special quality, almost magical, that you experience as you walk through the gates.
This is even more noticeable if you visit in the early evening just as its going dark and all the lights are on in Main Street and on the castle, it is simply Magical to coin a phrase.
The Magic Kingdom is a large park and there are lots and lots of shows and rides to visit and is perfect for kids and adults of all ages, this is another reason why it is my favourite. Keeping the kids happy always keeps the parents happy, believe me I know from my own experience.
A must visit ride has to be the “Pirates of the Caribbean” although I preferred the pre Jack Sparrow make over but it is still the best ride in Magic Kingdom Ho ho ho ho ho a pirates life for me!
Another of my Favourite ride is the Jungle Cruise although the wife doesn’t quite understand what I see in the ride I think the ride is great especially if you get a good boat captain who with interesting commentary can make the journey into the jungle very funny indeed.
For those of you wanting an adrenaline rush there is Splash Mountain where you might very well get wet or the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad where you will get many ups and downs on the great family friendly roller coaster, definitely worth a visit even for the nervous amongst your party (again I am speaking from actual experience).
The Haunted Mansion is by far the best ghost train type ride you will ever ride on it’s a big big ride and well worth the visit. I have to admit the first part where you descend into the ride is my favourite parts.
For the smaller people in your party there is Fantasyland and Mickey’s Toontown where there are lot and lots of rides for the children or “young adults”! ! ! , including the world famous “it’s a small world” which everyone has to visit at least once!
Topping off the park is Tomorrowland which has the wonderful roller coaster ride called Space Mountain, this is a great ride and is done in total darkness to heighten the high and lows of the popular ride, this is a definite ride not to be missed its great fun.
This is why Magic Kingdom is my favourite park because is it truly magical and has a massive choice of rides and shows to keep you and the kids occupied.
But then I set to thinking about what about The Disney Hollywood Studio’s that has something special hmmmm…. . Now is Magic Kingdom my favourite? I am not so sure! !
