Cheescake Factory Orlando
Having never been to the Cheesecake factory before and lots of people leaving really positive feedback in our guestbook about it, I suppose it was only a matter of time before we went there for something to eat. We decided to visit the factory on our last evening in Orlando and could not have asked for a better finish to our holiday.
I would always recommend booking a seat at the restaurant as it can get very busy between 6 – 9pm. We did not book and had to wait nearly an hour to get a seat.
The name of the restaurant does not give you a real perspective of what food they have on offer. The menu is very extensive and takes a while to navigate through, but once you have managed to get your head round all the different dishes you really do get great food. They serve everything from great steaks to international cuisine. The atmosphere in the restaurant also very nice and the décor adds to the atmosphere.
One thing I liked about the cheesecake factory is the great service. From start to finish we were looked after by our waiter. Nothing seemed to much trouble to him. From entering the restaurant to receiving our first dish was around 20 minutes. This did not seem too bad considering the amount of people that were there.
At first I was regretting the decision to have a starter, the size of it really was impressive. If you have not eaten much during the day it might be fine, but as I had eaten something earlier it was a bit like eyes is bigger than the belly!
No sooner had I let the first course settle than the humongous main course arrived! I was having the 8oz burger and fries. It was at this point that I definitely wished I had not had a starter! Now I had to make a decision and decide whether I left any room for a cheesecake. I decided that I would have one and asked them to box it up for the next day. On this night there was no chance of me eating it.
If you are after a place where you can relax and have great food, there really is no better place to go than the cheesecake factory. It really does offer some great food and if I was to go again I would certainly try the great specialty steaks. Even though the food was huge the bill was not, in total we paid just over $100 for a 3 course meal with wine and drinks. Not too bad for a night out. Why not try it next time you are over in Orlando.
