Our First Ever Visit to Florida - Part 16
So we are stood outside Fultons Crab House all pouring over the menu and time is getting on everyone’s getting tired and we need to eat, now I am a big fan of crab and there is a crabber feast with lots of different types of crab but it must be huge because it’s for two people.
My sister sees me eyeing up the crab feasts she says if you want it I will have it with you well we all have good appetites so I said yea let’s just go in and eat here it’s a bit posh for our first night but there some kids meals on the menu so if everyone else is up for it then why not.
We all went up the walkway onto the boat and got to reception there was about a thirty minute wait , the receptionist suggest going up onto the bow area of the boat where there were some tables and a bar and having a drink as we wait for our table, they would call out our name when our table was ready.
On the bow we found a table and some seats we ordered some drinks, I am not a fan of Budweiser or most other American beers and so chose Killians Wild Honey beer and I have to admit it was a lovely pint one weird thing I noticed is Americans seemed to be getting beer in a big jug we were not sure what this was so just stuck with our pint and sat in the lovely warm evening weather relaxing at last.
Some thirty minutes later our name was called over the tannoy and we headed back to reception, within minutes a waitress appeared and we were shown to our table once seated were given menus but we had all more or less decided on our meal choices as we were waiting.
I proudly announce my sister and I were having the Crab Feast the waitress smiled and wrote it down and then took everyone else orders then disappeared, she returned after a few minutes and brought some extra cutlery including some nutcracker devices for me and my sister I assumed this was for the crab claws she also gave me and my sister what I would simply call a bib quite like the ones our kids used to have to stop them getting food on their clothes plastic coated on one side
