Dining in Florida
Florida hosts a wealth of diverse dining experiences. You can eat inexpensively to the Fine dinning experience. Whatever your choice you are sure to find suitable alternatives
From the inexpensive buffet style Golden corral, this is very hard to beat. It has a huge salad bar with the usual different types of lettuce tomatoes cucumber cottage cheese , cheese, beetroot, plus other things such as potato salad. Tuna. Salad. Coleslaw ect
They also have a selection of soups and crackers
Then you progress to the hot buffet where there is different meats Steak, chicken, ( done to different recipes my husband particularly likes their meatloaf , but I like the beef pot roast stew ( the meat is exceptionally tender). The fish selections are all very good they range from seafood, salmon to white fish.
On a Saturday night there is a steak night where different cuts of meat are available; and cooked to your preference also there are many different vegetables, some plain some in sauces they do baked, mashed, casseroled potatoes, rice plus many more accompaniments to a main course. There is also pizzas and fresh bread. This is baked every 15 mins and they ring a bell to tell you that it is ready
You then go onto the dessert bar they serve hot and cold things like hot cherry pie (defiantly worth a try) to other hot pudding plus a selection of cold deserts not forgetting jelly, ice-cream, frozen yogurts with all the different toppings to go with it. There is a large selection of cakes, buns and cookies. Fresh fruit as well as tinned fruit. All followed of with hot coffee
My daughter particularly likes golden coral as she is a very fussy eater she does not either red meat or fish so with the choice here she can always find suitable alternatives. Kids do enjoy golden coral as they can go back to the bar several times selection things they like.
This is just a sample of things available for an evening buffet, of course they do a hearty break fast giving a good start to the day for hitting a long day at the parks which includes bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, and all the usual breakfast items plus fruit , cereals and a choice of fresh made omelette of your choice as well as a good lunch
I do hope this helps it is certainly worth a try and once tried I am sure you will be back again and again
