Happy Hallo Wishes-MNSSHP
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is one of the most anticipated events on the Magic Kingdom calendar, and was top our “To do list” for all October Florida visits!! This is a very popular event, and some nights completely sell out!!
Taking our family holiday in October to Florida, for a number of years, it became a natural part of our trip planning to include MNSSHP. The event is a must for taking children under 10 to, it is such fun for them with all sorts of themed Halloween enhancements to the children’s already most popular theme park!
Dressing up (especially for the children), is a must, and having your essential Halloween Treat collection bag, either a pumpkin/cauldron or decorated carrier bag from Wal-Mart completes any outfit you choose, and arms you ready for visiting the ‘treat‘ stations that you will find clearly marked all around the Magic Kingdom!
With ticket in hand, you are ready to join the after-hours-party to enjoy the Halloween entertainment, an enchanting parade, themed treat treks and of course tuck in to the treat stations (which are politely and careful “managed” so it is not a free-for-all!!), you can also enjoy the Magic Kingdom’s most popular attractions, yes that does mean that not ALL of the attractions are open, but then there is also other things dominating your time in the park and remember the numbers are careful restricted, so you will by no means be wall-to-wall!! A highlight, and added “cute” factor has to be the Halloween costumed Disney characters on the evenings. These, without doubt, make the perfect memory photo opportunities, so don’t forget your camera!! It is also an added incentive to ensure you at least dress the children up, it certainly will ensure you have another “Magic Moment” captured on film to show the folks back home!! Why stop at the kids? Dress up yourselves too!!
NB: Do be aware, if you are having a day in The Magic Kingdom that is a designated “special event” evening, such as MNSSHP night, then the park will of course close earlier on that day to allow for this. So make sure you are aware of the park times before you go, to avoid disappointment.
For 2005, our first time back incidently at this time of year for a couple of years, I understand that the event will have an explosive enhancement!! Taking place on a record 15 nights this October, guests will be treated to a brand new fire works “night cap” with the signature fireworks display being given a Halloween enhancement with ghosts coming out to socialise and villainous Disney songs and sounds being played across the park, simultaneously!!
Go “treat” your self to a ghoulishly fun evening, and don’t forget to dress-up it is all part of the fun!!
