Denny’s
For those visitors to Florida who like their food fast and hot, Denny’s is without doubt, the place to visit.
Denny’s is an American tradition, great value for money and the original fast food restaurant.
There are literally thousands of these famous diner style restaurants across America, but for guests visiting central Florida, you will be spoilt for choice, as there is seemingly a Denny’s just about anywhere you turn within the Disney tourist corridor.
Open 24 hours and day, seven days a week, including Christmas day, Denny’s offers everything from a good strong cup of coffee, to a full three course dinner.
Easily identified whilst driving, by their famous red and yellow signs, Denny’s has a welcoming and familiar feel, and is ideal for family groups, with it’s child friendly attitude, activities and menu.
In recent years, many of their restaurants have been retro fitted to give the true taste of a traditional 1950’s American diner.
Able to cater for all sizes of groups, you may choose to sit at the casual breakfast counter, from where you can observe all the hustle and bustle of the kitchen, a private booth, ideal for a small family, or in the main body of the restaurant, where traditional tables and chairs will be configured by your server to accommodate larger parties.
The service provided is friendly, polite and efficient. Food is ordered, cooked and served to you within minutes. Waiters / servers are always happy to advise on the best value options, and will have no hesitation in customising anything on the menu to suit your own individual requirements or fancies.
In fact, they will go out of their way to provide you with excellent service at all times, so don’t forget to show your appreciation by leaving an appropriate tip.
Denny’s regularly run daily or weekly “specials” and promotions, which prove even greater value for money, but without doubt, their traditional breakfast offerings including eggs, bacon strips, sausage links, hash browns and pancakes with maple syrup, are amongst the most popular items on the menu.
That said, just about anything else you can think of, from soup to salad, omelettes to steak, hamburgers to skillets, are all waiting to tempt your taste buds, and challenge the capacity of your stomach ~ because at Denny’s, portions are never small !
Bear in mind however, that with such good value for money, at peak times, especially at breakfast and early evening, Denny’s can get extremely busy, and you may have a short wait before being seated.
That said, you will not be disappointed once your turn comes to sample the delights of a restaurant that is as traditional a slice of America as the apple pie it serves !
