Which Ticket?
Tickets which ones?
Having just spent a number of days visiting the 4 Disney parks it makes one realise how carefully you should consider which combination of tickets one should buy.
The obvious decision is to use one ticket for each park and this will work well in the busier months but when its quieter or you have visited all 4 parks then you may find that being able to “hop” between parks may be a really useful option. Also when using this option consider where you are parking. It takes time to move the car so it may be worth considering parking at one park and using the transport system to get you to another park.
Consider the parks opening times when planning your visit. Magic Kingdom is usually open for longer hours than the other parks but this is due to its size and how busy it is. Epcot connects with the Magic Kingdom car park by monorail this can be a useful option if planning to visit both parks in the same day. However this only runs for an hour after Epcot closes so it may be worth parking at Magic Kingdom if one plans to go to Magic Kingdom until it closes.
Disney show all the opening hours and show times on their website so it’s much easier to plan in advance.
Sea World has a great option at the moment of upgrading your day pass to a Fun pass which allows entry for the rest of the year. This means that it’s an easy option to combine a shopping outing with a visit to say see just the evening shows or reverse it and an early trip to the park to go on the rides while the wait times are short and then leave when its gets busy.
Universal and Islands of Adventure are quite different parks so may appeal in a different way depending on the ages of the people visiting and the type of attractions one likes. Universal has more variety but Islands of Adventure is better for younger children. Most people visit both and you can get a ticket for both parks.
The water parks all offer different features and may not be an option to choose on ones first visit just because there is so much else to see and do and you will have use of your own pool when staying in a villa.
Just make sure you choose the parks you like the best, they are all fantastic.
