What is happening at Fantasyand?
There is some exciting news from Disney; they have aready teased us with a little news about Under The Sea, but in fact plans are in place to increase the size of Fantasyland exponentially.
The good news is that Disney are promising to double the size of Fantasyland which is already a huge favourite with families with small children.
Included in the new area will be Belles Cottage; Under The Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid and Beasts Castle.
Beasts Castle will buid up the tension by being accesible by a bridge. Here there will be a gift shop, a tavern and a cafe that morphs into a full service restaurant at dinner.
Beasts Castle stands on a hill and having seen the artists impression, it is shaping up to be absolutely stunning!
Belle' s Cottage will house an interactive story telling experience. You enter through Maurice' s cottage and from there step through a magic mirror to where the tale telling happens. There is almost nothing that little ones enjoy than being told a story and if you add on the fact that they can take part wil make this a must see.
Final of the big 3 is Under the Sea: Journey of The Little Mermaid and this is a ride that features the well loved songs from the film. This is looking to be a very colourful experience.
Think we are done? No way! this is Disney!
A Princess Fairytale Hall will be consructed to host those perennial favourite character meets. Then there will be ' The Seven Dwarfs Mini Train' which will rock and roll you to the place where they promise a million diamonds sparkle. The music, of course, will come from the well loved film.
Most of these attractions will be open for 2013 so if you have small children put that date in your diary. In my opinion we have had too many roller coasters and the like in recent years so this is very welcome news to those of us with small children or grandchildren!
And a word about the length of your vacation. The feedback I am getting from my guests is that 2 weeks is simlply not enough to see all the attractions that Orando has to offer. So if you can get 3 weeks off work why not take a bit more time to enjoy everything and have some relaxation in your wonderful villa?
