Villa or Hotel

Why rent a villa instead of staying at a hotel? There very many reasons why this choice of accommodation is the best way to go.

1st: Cost.

A hotel room will only accommodate 2 people plus probably 1 child and you will pay per night somewhere in the region of $150. With a one week stay that amounts to $1050 for just 3 people. For a family of 4 needing 2 rooms then the cost goes up to $2100 just for accommodation. The rates are exclusive of tax. The best well equipped villas which are properly licensed, insured and taxed and have private pools will cost in the region of $1100 per week exclusive of tax. And this is for 8 people! 8 people staying in a hotel for 2 weeks will come to the princely sum of $4200 plus tax where the villa for the same 2 weeks will cost between $2000 and $3000 plus tax depending on the level of amenities offered.

2nd: Convenience

A villa offers complete freedom to come and go as you please. You have the ability to lounge around at home if you feel like having a rest or spending the day in private in the swimming pool. You can also, of course, have meals at home without having to pay restaurant prices and it is nice to be able to get up in the morning and have breakfast before getting ready to go out. Children can be put to bed in their own rooms whilst you have a few cocktails by the pool watching the sun going down.

3rd: Privacy

Being able to laze away your holiday/vacation in the privacy of your own villa with everything on tap. Imagine being able to spend the day by a private pool with out having to scramble for a sun lounger before they all get taken. Then when you feel like a drink, just wandering in to the refrigerator to take an ice cold can and wandering back to your sun lounger.

4th: Security

You also have the knowledge that you have a management company on hand to help with anything from emergencies to just requesting advice on your stay. Most villas these days offer wi-fi access so if you wish to keep in touch by email at home you have that freedom too.

So all in all a villa is a much better proposition for you annual trip. You have saved all year for the holiday of a lifetime so go for the best accommodation on offer – A Villa.

NB: All rates quoted above are approximate and will vary greatly depending on number of rooms, bathrooms and other amenities offered.
