Villa now cheaper than Hotel
Is the Villa more cheaper and more popular than staying in a Hotel or Motel?
Well I first went to Florida in 1995 and to be honest never ever considered a holiday or stay in a luxury villa while visiting Orlando or the Gulf Coast area. For many (including myself) thought that staying in a villa was far too expensive and would only appeal to those with families.
Since those days the argument that the villa is more expensive than a hotel are well and truly gone, for most a villa now works out far cheaper than any hotel room and can actually save you money. For a family of 4 it is now cheaper to book a villa than a hotel room!
What most people sometimes don’t understand is a villa has its own pool, kitchen, large bedrooms and some even have Internet and Games rooms. And remember you only pay for the villa rental (not per person using it!). Just think of how much space you actually have in a villa as well.
Since 2000 I have always stayed in a villa when visiting and would never go back to a small room. When I look back at the days of waiting for 1 bathroom and having 4 people in 1 room, I wonder why I actually put up with it. All villas are within easy reach of all the theme parks and attractions, making them ideal places to stay as well.
One of the best positives of staying in a private villa is the fact that you can use the private pool as much as you want and there are no time restrictions on using it. Many pools in Hotels or Motels close early evening and will not allow guests to use them after this time. Many of the villas we have stayed in all have another great plus in they have a spa/Jacuzzi. All villa pools can be heated during the cooler months as well.
With the Villa holiday becoming more popular and the general standards of villas and amenities getting better by the week it is only good news for the guests.
With more and more people gaining confidence in booking holidays by themselves and booking flights to Florida easier than ever it really does look like the Villa holiday boom will only go from strength to strength.
If you have never stayed in one you need to give it a go and once you do you will never go back to staying in a hotel room ever again, it worked for me!
