Tips for Theme Parks
There are quite a few tips that will help you get the best out of each of the theme parks. Here are just a few that I know of (I’m sure other people will know even more).
When you are booking your tickets, book and pay for them in advance on our Orlando Villas Park Tickets site, use this link: http://www. orlandovillas. com/tickets. aspx. There are many choices but the more days you buy the cheaper the price. You may decide it is not worth the extra to pay for a park hopper ticket but it really is the best type of ticket to buy. It enables you to swap from one park to the other on the same day rather than be locked into the one park. Switching is useful if you just want to pop back to do some rides you may have missed or want to do again another day.
The most popular rides have the longest queues and you can get a fast pass ticket which will give you a time to return to the ride when you can then go straight on. However, you can only get a fast pass for one ride at a time so another good time to do the most popular rides is early in the morning as soon as the parks open, during the parades, during the traditional lunch times of 12 – 2 or later in the evening nearer to when the parks are about to close.
Another tip is to try and do the reverse of the crowd. Most people go to the nearest ride first and work their way round, do the opposite, start furthest away and work back to the entrance. Also save looking in the souvenir shops (of which there are many) until the best rides are at their busiest and try and go to the shows at the busiest times when everybody gets in at the same time rather than queuing up for each person to get on a ride.
Please don’t be tempted to have one of your party queue up and then have the rest join you when you get near the front. This will cause untold anger to the rest of the queue and could potentially give way to very bad abuse from them – quite rightly in my view. Also do check that your children do not need to go to the toilet before you start queuing up. You would be surprised how many times I have seen frustrated parents leaving a queue when they have just got to the front for this very reason.
If you are planning on spending just one day and not the evening in the park, then have a really good breakfast and try to survive on light snacks during the day, this will give you more time to do the rides.
I hope this has not put you off the parks! They are worth all the trouble, trust me.
