'The Loop' shopping outlet
A new outlet shopping centre called 'The Loop' along with a cinema are now open at the junction of John Young Parkway with Osceola Parkway. This is easily accessible for properties in the 192 region - probably the most direct route is to take the Osceola parkway toll road. Otherwise follow the 192 east to John Young parkway and turn left. The Loop is a few miles up on the left side.
There is a good selection of the usual shops including Kohls, Bed Bath and Beyond, Sports Authority, Ross Dress for Less, Famous footwear, Petco and Kirklands home. There is an ABC spirits and wine if you can't find what you want in the usual supermarkets.
There are also a variety of smaller shops where you can get a haircut - even a children's hairdresser!, get your nails done etc.
I particularly liked Michael's Arts and crafts. I have never seen a shop at home with quite such a variety of home hobby supplies. Everthing from knitting, sewing, florestry, picture framing to sticker albums and much much more! For any home owners they make up silk flower arrangements to order.
A couple of shops specialise in fashion clothing for the younger (and slimmer) amongst us. One of these is American Eagle outfitters with a selection of tiny denim skirts, skimmpy tee-shirts etc. Next door is 'Old Navy' with more clothes.
If you need toiletries there is a pharmacy and also an Avon shop! Not seen one of those for a while.
Over John Young parkway is a furniture shop, Ashley Furniture - again useful for home owners or anyone wanting interesting items to take home.
Once you've had your fill of shopping there are plenty of places for a drink or food. We particularly liked the Panera bread shop which is a bakery as well as sandwich shop. There is a fast food outlet serving burgers and fries - Johnny Rocket's original hamburger. Next to the cinema there is a Ben and Jerrys - my other half wondered why he couldn't get ice cream in the cinema - so be warned and get yours on the way in! Another interesting stop off is Barnies - serving coffee - but it's also a wine bar as well as serving light snacks. We ate in Romanos Macaroni Grill - a very nice Italian with lovely pizza and pasta dishes. Reasonably priced but a nice place with very helpful staff.
And finally you might want to take in a movie! It is a 'Regal' cinema so you can look up the schedule online or phone before you go. The seats are the most comfortable I have ever come across anywhere!
Enjoy your visit!
