Some American guests at our villa visited the Water Parks because they said it was something they could not do in their home in the north and the children were the envy of their school friends when they said they went swimming on Thanksgiving Day!
You can start your day at Animal Kingdom with an All you can eat breakfast at Restaurantsaurus , a great start to Thanksgiving Day but be sure to book your reservation well in advance.
If you spend the day in the Magic Kingdom you can lunch at The Liberty Tree Tavern. (Turkey with all the trimmings) then you can find good seats for the Parade. You can watch the afternoon parade while you sip Hot Chocolate. One year having had our turkey lunch at Magic Kingdom we went over to Hollywood Studios to casually stroll through the Osborne Family Light Spectacle while sipping on hot chocolate in our Christmas souvenir mugs. We used the special glasses they gave us and they turned the Christmas lights into an amazing 3-D experience. The snow falling and the holiday music maee it so very special. We finished our Thanksgiving visit here with traditional smoked turkey legs.
One year guests at our villa spend the day at the parks, came back to the villa for a dip and then headed off to the late show of the Hoop-De-Doo revue at Pioneer Hall. They said it was one of their best Thanksgiving days ever.
If you stay up late on the day and are not too sleepy you can head off to Premium Outlets where their sale starts at midnight.
When you wake up on the morning after Thanksgiving you will find that even more magic has happened at the Parks as they will be transformed with Christmas decorations!
