Sweetbays.
If your vacation villa is on or near the 27, I want to tell you about a supermarket you otherwise might miss.
Sweetbays are a rather more upmarket store that is north of the 192/27 junction and on the way to Clermont. This supermarket is well worth seeking out.
Just like our very own Marks and Spencer, Sweetbay started off as a market stall. An Italian immigrant called Salvatore Greco is the founder and he started his enterprise in the Tampa area.
I suppose the closest British store to Sweetbays is Waitrose. Both stores are very neat and the fresh goods are of a good quality and attractively displayed.
It will strike you at once that the prices are a little higher than say Wal Mart or Publix but the quality is good and if you shop carefully it need cost you no more than in the other supermarkets mentioned.
For instance, this week they have Angus Rib at $5. 99 a pound and a ' BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE' on both chicken breast and good quality toilet roll. Also, our favourite Idaho potatoes were $2. 49 for a five pound bag.
You can make further savings if you are super efficient (and here I must confess that I am not) Just go onto their website and clip some coupons. Usually there are somewhere around 6 dozen coupons. You could print them off at the library opposite the Walmart you pass at Cagans Crossing. I think that a photocopy costs around 10 cents.
When you are in the store you can pick up some recipe leaflets and these are great when you do not have your favourite home recipe book to hand.
There are also some healthy Living pamphlets for you to look at.
Your nearest Sweetbays is likely to be this one:

Along with your normal supermarket shopping there is a pharmacy, a shellfish steamer, proper butcher counter, an olive bar and an A. T. M. If you have a special occasion to celebrate, they do very nice fruit baskets and party platters.
While you have driven that far north you may like to think about visiting Clermont Landings which is the shopping center in Clermont.
Here you will find all your favourite stores including T. J. Maxx, Ross Dress for Less, Dollar Tree and J. C. Penney. There are also a couple of my favourite restaurants, Red Lobster and Olive Garden. Within the same complex is a 16 screen cinema.
