Shopping For The Younger Generation
Let’s face it many of us go to Florida with the thought of meeting Mickey and his friends but many of us go with shopping in mind, well maybe the ladies do but needs must.
I have visited Florida many times now and only go out with one full suitcase and three empty ones. Although I always manage to fill the empty ones before our journey home.
Many people enjoy shopping for themselves where as I like to shop for my children best, I have two little girls and both have my passion for shopping.
The Loop near John Young Parkway has a shop called Justice…. just for girls. This shop stocks clothes from the age of six upwards and they have plenty of choice. My eldest daughter who is ten found the clothes of her dreams in here and better still they are all reasonably priced. Also at The Loop is Sports Authority which is great for all sports wear although a little more pricey than the shops at the Outlets.
Lake Beauna Vista Outlets has many shops to choose from including Gap, Osh Kosh B Gosh, Carters and various sports outlets. Carters is a fabulous shop to pick up outfits for little ones, probably more suited for the under fives. Some of the gift sets in here for babies are beautiful and the prices are amazing. There is also a small play area at these shops so if your partner is tired of shopping he can watch the little ones here. If you need a little rest yourself there are places to eat and a coffee shop to revive those batteries.
Orlando Premium Outlets is probably my favourite. Here for the older children you will find Guess and Tommy Hilfiger; again as these are factory outlet stores the prices are great. You will also find some of the same shops as Lake Beauna Vista but they are still worth a look and they all stock different items. Little Me is my personal favourite shop in Orlando, again aimed for the under fives this shop has plenty of choice and the quality of the clothes are great.
I would visit all the Outlets before heading to The Malls as you really will pick up amazing bargains.
For Disney clothes you can’t beat The Disney Store in Downtown Disney. Here they stock all the Princess Outfits and the boys won’t be disappointed with Pirates Outfits either. For prices a little more reasonable we found lots of choice in Disney clothes in Super Target.
Super Target and Wal-Mart are great for picking up swimsuits and underwear and well everywhere in Florida is worth a little browse………. Enjoy.
