Tips when visiting Sea World
Sea World really is my favorite park, I don' t do the rides but love the shows. There really is something to interest ever member of your family.
Upon entry into the park pick up a map. If your plan is to watch one or even all the great shows, check the showtimes and plan your day accordingly.
Buy a refillable cup they range anywhere from $8. 00 to $12. 00 depending on the style chosen. They work out at very good value if you plan to spend the day at the park. The refills are 99cents + Tax. Popcorn buckets are a great hit and also a good idea for munching during the shows, these also refilled for a small charge. The refillable cup you buy on your first visit is Sea World, can be used at Busch Gardens and Aquatica, some folks say it can also be used at Universal & Island of Adventure however I am not sure, so best to check when you make your purchase.
A change of clothes is always handy, and can be left in the car for emergencies. Another good idea is to buy a plastic poncho for keeping dry when sitting in the flood zones, you can pick these up in Walmart or CVS and all the theme parks. The plastic poncho is easily wrapped up and take up no room in your rucksack. To avoid being splashed at the water shows sit at the back of the stadium, as you walk up the steps you will see the flood zones clearly marked, if you have children in your party they will probably want to be as close to the action as possible, yes you guessed it, the flood zone! Most children love to sit where they will get splashed, it is great fun for them, and parents will love to watch their children and listen, as their little faces light up and they squeal with laughter as another wonderful memory has been created. Make sure to take your camera, or other device.
The All Day Dinning deal, I feel is very good value if you plan to spend the whole day at Sea World, you can start with breakfast, lunch if your feel up to it, or perhaps just a fruit cup, if a light lunch is taken you will be ready for an early dinner! You will be given a wrist band in exchange for your payment. There are around 6 restaurants to choose from, each will display their opening & most importantly their closing times.
Restaurants currently on the dinning plan, Seafire Inn, Terrace Cafe, Seaport Pizza, Mango Joe' s, Voyager’s Smoke House, The Spice Mill. (Unfortunately the Baby Back Ribs are not part of the dinning plan at Voyager' s Smoke House)
Adult $32. 99 + Tax
Child $17. 99 + Tax (kids meals only)
