Sci-Fi Diner at Disney's Hollywood Studios

The “car” consists of a front seat, middle seat and back seat. Each seat holds two people and the total seated in the car is 6. These seats can be a little snug for a larger person so you may want to sit in the picnic type tables they have around the sides of the room. This restaurant fills up quickly so make reservations early, especially if you want to sit in one of the cars. We find that arriving a little before or after the prime dining times ensures that we will get a car If you have less than six in your party, they may put another couple (they call hitchhikers) in the back seat with you. If you have only three in your party, two will sit together and the third person would be in the seat behind you alone but you are still able to talk to one another.
The menu consists mostly of the classic burgers and fries, onion rings and sandwich types of food. They have great shakes and cherry coke. .

Prices are a little on the high side but servings are large and you should eat here at least once. Go for the atmosphere more than the food. Our kids really enjoyed dining under the stars in a car and we usually try to visit at least once every time we visit Disney.
Ask your server to take a picture of your group in your car and you will have a great souvenir of the time you “dined under the stars at the drive-in”.
