Ruby Tuesday Restaurant
Ruby Tuesday Restaurant is a fun family restaurant located in various areas throughout Orlando. The one recommended here is the newly refurbished restaurant at the Florida Mall as you can combine a days shopping and have a pit stop for lunch or after your hectic day at the mall and you need to refuel as it is located conveniently at the entrance to the Mall, in fact it also has an entrance inside the mall so you don't have to go outside! !
The food is geared towards the family crowd and consists of the usual combination of appetizers and sides plus of course the entree dishes including pasta, seafood, chicken, ribs, steaks and burgers and it is all very reasonably priced and great value especially if you are in a group.
The star of the show in Ruby Tuesday restaurants is their garden salad bar. It has dozens of items to keep the fussiest of person happy. Lots of cheeses, egg, greens, onions, tomatoes, chick peas, cucumber, beans, bacon bites, grapes, cranberries and this is to name just a few of the items!
The garden salad bar also has all the dressings with choices such as Honey Mustard, Ranch, Blue Cheese, Italian and also light versions of some of them. Croutons, oils and balsamic vinegars finish off the choice.
On our latest visit we decided to choose a combo meal and it consisted of two mini USDA burgers with French Fries and a garden salad which is bottomless (you can go up as many times as you want). This combo was just $8. 99. If you just go for the salad it's around $8. 49 so it is worth the little extra to have the whole deal even if you don't manage to eat it all its only 50 cents more! !
They have plenty to choose from on the dessert side too but we were too full to manage and in fact needed a box to take one of the burgers home! !
They have plenty to choose from on the drink side of life but as most of the party was driving we only had non alcoholic. However they had some great choices not found in other restaurants.
I can recommend the strawberry lemonade which is really refreshing and made with fresh strawberries. They also do it with various other fruits and the pomegranate version comes highly recommended too.
So next time you are at the Florida Mall don't bother with the busy food court, nip over to Ruby Tuesday's and try something.
