Restaurant Row Part 1
Restaurant Row is located in an area of Orlando called Dr Phillips and is just off International Drive. It is home to a great selection of restaurants and has more upscale restaurants than the traditional tourist areas of Orlando. Although some discerning tourists can be found, these restaurants tend to be patronised by the professional locals. The dress code is mostly smart casual although for some a jacket will be required. So if you’re looking for something new to try or somewhere for a special occasion then look no further here are just a few of the options available to those in the know!
Christini’s Ristorante Italiano has become something of an institution in Orlando since it opened over 25 years ago. It is one of the more expensive restaurants and is located in Phillips Place on Dr Phillips Blvd across from Dr Phillip’s Marketplace. Very romantic location offering fine dining and a great excuse to get dressed up. Reservations recommended and can be made online at their website.
Mortons The Steakhouse is an upscale steak house chain. Its Orlando Location has received many awards for the quality of it’s food. Again shorts and t shirts are not recommended and smart casual or business attire is more appropriate. They do sometimes have a special offer voucher on their website so it’s worth checking this out before you make a reservation.
Seasons 52 is a fresh grill and wine bar that offers guests seasonally inspired menus in a casually sophisticated and elegant location. Their menu is modern and light – no dish on their menu is over 475 calories so you can enjoy a beautifully presented and delicious meal confident that you’re also eating dishes that are good for you.
The Melting Pot on West Sand Lake Road is a fantastic fondue restaurant. You can reserve a table online at their website and whilst on their website don’t forget to sign up for the fondue club and get a free chocolate fondue for two.
Chatham’s Place restaurant is located at 7575 Dr Phillips Blvd – since it opened in 1988 it has maintained a tradition of amazing food and outstanding service. Chef Tony uses many herbs, vegetables and fruits from his own organic garden and his dishes are seasonally driven to ensure the freshest of ingredients that are served at their very best. The maitre’d and serving team do their very best to ensure all their guests are attended to with efficiency and charm.
