Are you going to Downtown Disney, while you are there, perhaps catching a show at the Cirque du Solei, perhaps you have gone early to have a look around and maybe get a meal before the show, have you tried Planet Hollywood, if not give it a go, there are always queues to eat there and you would be well advised to get your name on the list, ask for an approximate time when you can expect to be seated, and then to go for a look around the shops, clubs and side cubicles.
Maybe your children are into Lego and want to go and see the dinosaur made from Lego that is coming out of the lake before going into the shop to see if they can prize any money from your pockets, walk around the lake and have a look at the side cubicles selling such things as oysters with pearls in them, perhaps into the Disney store to see what is new, but finally arriving back at Planet Hollywood to get your seat. Go up the flight of stairs and into the globe that is on stilts and surrounded by water.
Once inside, into the cool atmosphere of Planet Hollywood, they, in a similar way to Hard Rock, have memorabilia, but this time of films and film stars, and again, it is worth a look around to view this memorabilia and take in who wore what costume in what film, or what film that poster was from, and so on.
The menu is quite extensive and the food is delicious, half a chicken with mashed, (creamed), potatoes, delicious, burgers, steaks cooked as you like them, chicken nuggets and chips for the kids, as well as a wide variety of other foods that you may not necessarily expect to find in an American restaurant, but all of very good quality and well cooked, orange juice, beer and cocktails, they have it all.
The staff are courteous and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them, and, they help to make your eating experience at Planet Hollywood a wonderful experience.
Would I recommend it to anyone, I most certainly would and have, I have absolutely no doubt at all that if you were to try Planet Hollywood, you would come out thinking the same as me, and that is, well, that was a delicious meal, well worth the money and certainly worth another visit next time we are here.
