Dine in, take out, delivery (Pepperoni at Champions Gate)
Sometimes cooking at your lovely villa is just not what you want to do, but equally if you have had a busy day at the theme parks, you may just want to get back to your villa and relax, kids in the pool, granny may want a 10 minute nap! That said you have to eat! ! ! Well, if you are staying on the H27, CR54 or near Champions Gate itself, I think we may have found an extremely good option for you! ! Pepperoni, Pizzeria and Restaurant! ! What a find! !
Be warned mind you…the portions are huge, you will be amazed. Often, it is worthwhile calling in as you come off exit 58 from the I4, you will see it located just to the right of the Publix Supermarket which dominates the parade of shops.
Collect what you want, and then head home, or if you pick up a menu (there may well be one already in your villa, left by the owners or previous guests! ), then you can order over the phone, and decide whether to have it delivered or have one of your party pop back to collect the order! ! You decide.
The hours of business are:
Mon-Sat 11:00am-10:30pm
Sunday 5pm – 10:00pm
Apart from the fabulous pizzas, you can have soups, salads, pastas, seafood and fish, and some really tasty entrees! ! ! I can highly recommend the veal stew (Veal Marsala), I had never had it before and it is now a firm favourite for me!
The restaurant lacks some ambience during the day but at night it comes to life, it has always been busy when we have called in, and to be honest that is why we started using the take-out option. We have found all the meals to be so good, and the only complaint would have to be the amount they serve, particularly in the take-out. A single pasta dish really is more than enough for 2 people! ! They even do a children’s menu, with the firm favourite of chicken nuggets and meatballs, as well as plain pizzas, and each kids menu includes a drink and a chocolate bar from as little as $5 (approx).
Let us not forget the delicious deserts, as a cheese cake fan, I tend to opt for that, but they do have daily specials, as well as Spumoni and Tiramisu! !
So why not give it a try? As an added bonus we were pleased to find out that deliveries are FREE too! !
