Orange Tree Community, Florida
We are proud owners of a five bed roomed single story vacation home with its own private pool and spa, built on the Orange Tree community and here in this informative article you will find some useful information should you be lucky enough to be renting your vacation home in this part of Florida.
Orange Tree was first started to be built in the early 2000’s by one of Florida’s Premier building companies, Greater Homes. It is situated adjacent to HWY 27 just north of the junction with the 192. (Cagan Crossings) This is a really good place to stay if paying a visit to Disney, and is also an east drive should you wish to visit the lovely beaches of Clearwater and the surrounding area on the west coast of Florida.
It was built in 6 phases, and we visited Orange Tree during phase 3 for our vacation, and decided to buy a home on phase 5 as we loved it so much!
The community is built with luxury in mind; all the single storey homes have larger than average lots and most have their own swimming pool. The spacious streets are well lit at night, and have tree lined sidewalks so it is safe to take your evening stroll should you wish to do so. The builders planned the community around a section of and Orange grove, and these tress are maintained and cared for by the community, and the oranges are there for the owners/vacationers to use if they wish to pick some for themselves.
There is a tennis court and basket ball court, along with a large grass field for ball sports to keep the children happy, and for the younger ones there are 2 children’s playground, or Tot Lots as they are called in the US.
Close by, about a 2 mile drive is a superb town centre called Cagan Crossings. There are lots of shops and places to eat as well as a huge Wal-Mart store just across the highway. There is a farmers market on Wednesday evenings 4 to 7 pm. and the market features fresh produce, home made jams, pickles and vinegars; fish, seafood, honey and baked goods. They also have specialty vendors and artists that rotate weekly. There is always something new at the market. Cagan Crossings is located 4 miles west of Walt Disney World in scenic Clermont, FL. Clermont is called the ' Gem of the Hills' and is nestled among 17 interconnected lakes, making fishing and water sports prime activities for area residents and visitors.
