Mall at Millenia Shopping
This really is more than just another Mall, it is described on it’s website as ‘more than just the ultimate shopping destination’, it claims to treat guests to a sensory experience with breathtaking architecture, LED screens atop 35 foot high masts, valet parking, foreign currency exchange, global shipping etc They also host a variety of special events throughout the year ranging from fashion shows and book signings to live Jazz performances. To check out what is happening during your holiday dates logon to the Mall website and check out the Events section.
You have the infamous department stores, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales and Macy’s along with top American and European designers such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Burberry, Jimmy Choo and for something very special Tiffany and Co.
In case you’re thinking this is a playground for only those with unlimited funds don’t be disheartened there are also stores like Abercrombie, Zara and Coach.
One of our family’s favourite stores in this Mall is the amazing Apple store, and if you have a reluctant shopper in your family you can always leave them here playing on all the latest computer gear while you hit the designer shops!
Even if you don’t want to shop there are some fantastic restaurants located at the Mall, one of our all time favourites is the Cheesecake Factory – don’t be deceived by the name this is far more than a coffee shop that serves great cheesecake! You can of course just stop by for coffee and cake but that would mean missing out on all the fabulous appetisers and entrees that this great restaurant is famous for. Take a tip from us and try the Bang Bang Shrimp and Chicken, absolutely delicious! We always end up taking cheesecake home in a box for later and although one piece to share is definitely enough for us, trying to choose which one is a real toughie!
Right next to the Cheesecake Factory is P. F. Chang’s China Bistro and we have heard so many fantastic reviews of this restaurant that we are determined to try it on our next trip to the Sunshine State.
So if any of this has whet your appetite for the ultimate shopping experience and you fancy a trip to Orlando’s biggest and brightest shopping Mall you will find it just off Exit 78 of the I4 at 4200 Conroy Road, Orlando Florida, 32839 the opening hours are Monday – Saturday 10am – 9pm and Sunday 12 Noon – 7pm -The Mall is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
