Hoop-Dee-Doo Review – A Dinner Show Hit!
Going to Disney and looking for a silly, fun and even a bit corny dinner experience? Make a priority seating reservation the whole family will enjoy….the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue Dinner Show in the rustic Pioneer Hall at The Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. This fun-filled show has been entertaining Disney audiences since 1974 and is sure to please!
Travel by bus or boat to the beautiful Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. Give yourself plenty of time to get there. With the exception of buses, vehicles are restricted at Fort Wilderness. There you will find Pioneer Hall. Bring a sweater, even in the heat of summer. Pioneer Hall is kept cool year round due to its intense air conditioning, which only adds to the great atmosphere of the show. Before the show, relax with a refreshing beverage on one of their shaded porches in comfortable, rustic rocking chairs. Pioneer Hall also boasts great photo opportunities among many acres of beautiful cypress and pine trees.
Rated as “Best Dinner Show” by Birnbaum’s Best, families will enjoy a sumptuous, bottomless buffet of fried chicken, tangy ribs, baked beans, homemade breads, and their famous strawberry shortcake. Unlimited beer, sangria and soft drinks during the show are included. Service is exceptional, and true to Disney style….friendly, prompt and courteous.
While you feast, stage performers hoot and holler, sing and dance, and encourage guests to participate in their show. Western costumes will impress. The show is filled with fun, silliness, and country music and dancing as performers sing and joke with the audience. The knee-slapping, hand-clapping fun will be one of your most memorable Disney experiences. Children will love stomping and clapping to the music, and playing along to the music with washboards. You may even experience one of a few embarrassing moments, but the corniness and “goofyness” is well worth the money.
The show is held every night at 5:00 PM, 7:15 PM and 9:30 PM. Cost is $49.01 for adults and $28.41 for children ages 3 through 11. Due to the popularity of the show, reservations can be made up to 2 years in advance, so book early to ensure a seat. Request a seat as close to the stage as possible for the best experience. Call 407-WDW-DINE to reserve.
