Florida Guide > Planning your Trip
Fun in the Sun
What do you want from a holiday, sun, yes, entertainment, yes, relaxation, yes, good food, yes, so where can you find all of these in abundance.
Well let me see now, there’s Spain, France, Portugal and probably a good deal many more, but, Florida, in particular Orlando was built for non stop fun for all of the family, and if you rent a villa instead of staying in a hotel, you can add unadulterated luxury therefore allowing you to totally relax.
What could be better than getting up in the morning to temperatures that allow you to take an early morning swim in the villas pool without freezing to death, and then relaxing in the warm morning sun with a coffee or al fresco breakfast, watching the wildlife and just letting the world pass you by, or if you would prefer, a trip to Perkins or any one of the myriads of breakfast restaurants for the most important meal of the day and then to the parks.
Which will it be, Typhoon Lagoon, Epcot, Universal, Wild and Wet, Busch Gardens, NASA or any of the parks to many to name here, but whichever you choose you are guaranteed a full day, and most of the evening, (if your feet can stand it), of entertainment and fun, and when the day draws to an end, perhaps a meal at Logans, Bahama Breeze, The Golden Coral, Cracker Barrel or any of the many more, you are really spoiled for choice. Perhaps you would prefer to go to the relative calm of Celebration the Disney town where you will find good restaurants and rocking chairs set out at the head of the lake so that you can just sit, relax and pass an hour or so.
It could be that you will want to spend some time at a beach, and Florida has many, from around the Disney/Universal area of Orlando, you are around an hours drive from Coco beach and Daytona Beach to name but two, there are real lazy rivers where you get an inner tube and lazily float as far as you wish up to a couple of miles, and then walk back to start again, there are nature reserves in abundance to visit, and of course, it wouldn’t be a holiday in Florida if you didn’t take a flat bottomed boat ride and see the alligators, eagles, cormorants and egrets in their own environment. For the fishermen out there, Boggy Creek is one of the finest fishing spots in the whole of America.
If you are a golfer there are many golf courses in Orlando, lots of which are championship courses and this includes the Greg Norman designed course at Champions Gate.
Orlando has it all, whatever type of holiday that you like, whether it be fun packed, relaxing, action packed or golfing you will find it here, and to go just that little step further, to add a little class and luxury, you could do no better than to stay in a villa.
