Formosa Gardens Estates
Formosa Gardens Estates, is a securely gated Sub-Division, Phase one was built around the year 2000, and phase two from 2003 on. It is World Renowned as, truly, one of the best, if not the best, Locations you will find.
Just at marker 4 on the western end of the 192, Irlo Bronson Highway, on the Formosa Boulevard, just passed the old Splendid China site. It is 50 minutes by car to the Sanford (Orlando) Airport, where most Charter Airlines fly to and from, and 30 minutes to the Main Orlando International Airport, where most of the Schedule Airlines are based.
You will be pleasantly surprised how big the House's on the Division are, and how they are all set apart from each other, the majority of them in there own third of an acre plots, and nearly all of them are multi bedroom Executive homes and some as big as Mansions, with enough space between them to build another house. All have huge designer pools and decks, they are very private and not overlooked, even the enormous drives can take 5 or 6 cars, It is pretty quiet and certainly not for everyone as there are none of the resort style amenities that have communal pools and club houses, as for Games rooms, most of the homes here, have there own.
When you drive in to the estate you will notice how all the roads have an Oriental name to them, following the “Formosa Theme” the owner of the Land, a Mr. Chen, decided to have these wonderful Eastern sounding names, you have Sea Pearl Circle, Sleeping Dragon Lane, Spinning Silk Ct, Emperor’s Orchid Ct, all conjure up thoughts of a hair raising scene from a Jackie Chan Movie.
Once you are in your Villa you will be amazed how quiet and peaceful the place is, and how relaxing watching the local wildlife can be, there are many Crane’s that will come and visit, and walk around the pool screen, and many other types of bird’s I have spotted a family of hawks that live in the High Trees, and they are amazing watching them diving for there prey, Turkey Vultures, and those naughty Racoons that will be in you bins, There are 2 lakes, in Formosa Gardens, Star lake and Moon lake and many of the homes back onto them. There are some very large Bass in the lakes which you are allowed to fish for.
It is also the closest to all the action, as Disney is only 2 miles away. Half a mile down the road, which is in walking distance, is the Formosa Shopping Plaza, with over 8 restaurants to chose from, Outback’s, Carrabbas, TGI's Fridays, Cracker barrel, Red Lobster, Taco Bells and loads more, there's a Liquor store and Ice Cream Parlours, Pharmacies including a 24 hour Walgreens, and a walk in Medical Centre just in case you need it, and many more small shops and stores for your convenience.
