Florida Bucket List.

You all know what a Bucket List is? A list of things to do before you die. Well, after umpteen visits to Florida, we still have a Florida Bucket List, even though, most of them are perfectly possible. So I am going to share mine with you and hope it makes you list yours for next time and actually do them!

Discovery Cove: yes, really! We have been meaning to do it for ages and every time someone I know does it they are full of it. That is definitely my number one.

Next one may surprise you because it is Weechi Wachi. It used to be so run down when we ever passed it, but did you know that it has been taken over by The State Parks Department and completely refreshed. It was once the premier attraction in Florida and the mermaids were treated like film stars.

Another surprising one is Legoland. Yes, I know it has been open a few years but we have visited a Legoland before. I have been told that this Legioland has a little more to offer so that gets a place as well.

Ripleys has always intrigued me. We did not get to go when we went to St Augustine recently but there is one in the Orlando area so worth a go.

Ichnetucknne - a State Park north east of Gainesville where you can go tubing for hours. Perfectly possible to do it in a day.

The Salvador Dali museum on the Gulf Coast. I know he was prolific in his lifetime but I, for one, have never seen an original.

Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party - preferably with a grand child or two (though I am capable of regressing all on my own)

The Keys, rather a long drive so it keeps getting deferred. However, I am sure that one day I will be saying that I went to Florida tens of times and never went.

Sarasota, been down most of that coast over the years and never stopped there. A long time ago, an American told me that it was their least favourite place and it put me off. Subsequently. many people have said how nice it is.

Last (and probably least) is a meal at Gaylord Palms. Is it worth it? I should find out.

So that is my top ten; I bet each of you has a different one.
