First Time Travelling To Florida (Part 2)

Following on from Part 1 we will try to give some advice about the "Theme Parks" and perhaps other places of interest.

Let's start with the parks:

As you are aware there is a huge choice of parks and attractions to visit. It is therefore essential that you seriously spend some time to think of the ones that you would like to visit i.e. Magic Kingdom, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Sea World, Animal Kingdom, Busch Gardens, Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon etc.

Now you have to decide do you pre-order tickets, get special hopper passes or just pay at the entrance to each park when you are there. This is entirely down to you but one tip is to be careful if purchasing "Hopper Passes" as some of these will have to be used within a certain time limit upon visiting the 1st park within the package.

We have used them before and were fine but just check the conditions when purchasing.

Now after so much excitement at the "Parks" you may think you have "Seen and Done" Florida.

There is so much more great things on offer from Helicopter Rides, visiting Old Town, Downtown Disney, Day trip to Kennedy Space Centre, going to Daytona Beach and even visiting the Daytona International Raceway if you are a motor-sports fan. You could swim with dolphins at Crystal Cove, go for Air Boat Rides in the Everglades, go on a Hot-Air Balloon trip or even Drive a Nascar at Disney Speedway as well as Daytona.

For any golfers out there then there are a few must play courses such as Champions Gate and Falcons Fire. These 2 courses are spectacular and there are a host of other great courses around such as The Disney Courses, Orange Lakes courses and many many more. You will be amazed at how cheap it is to play a round of golf out here as the cost normally includes your buggy and practice range balls.

These are just a few extra ideas of other great things to do and places to visit and we recommend that you should try something.
