Eating/Dining at the Loop
The first time my Mother and I tried to go to The Loop without my Father we must have spent two hours driving up and down the 417 trying to find it. So much so we expected the sheriff’s car to pull us over after reports of two women behaving strangely!
For that reason I will give directions to The Loop:
First you take the SR 417 (toll road) to Exit 10, John Young Parkway South (SR 423). Go along John Young Parkway South for three miles. The Loop is at the corner of John Young and Osceola Parkways.
You can spend many many hours here shopping so I have tried to list the eating/dining options you have whilst you are here. Whether you want a snack, a mid shopping lunch break or you are having dinner or even a meal after going to the cinema everything is catered for here. There is plenty of choice of snacks, drinks, salads, appetizers, entrees in fact anything you fancy.
Barnie’s Coffee & TeaYou can get great coffee here try their specialty Arabica coffees or even enjoy a cup of tea. They also sell related accessories, appliances and gifts.
Ben and Jerry' s The girls always love to stop here to try their yummy ice cream and crazy concoctions.
Chili’sWe are big fans of Chili’s often dining at the one at Cagan Crossings. They have a lovely atmosphere more of a casual dining family restaurant. They serve hamburgers, baby back ribs, fajitas, salads, southwestern recipes, margaritas to name but a few.
Chipolte Mexican GrillWe have not eaten here but friends have and say they serve easy to eat if you are in a hurry Mexican favourites such as burritos, tacos and chips.
Johnny Rockets I always feel this is a real American diner; it serves the great American favourites such as hamburgers, hand-dipped shakes and a scrumptious freshly-baked apple pie. I can smell it now! You can listen to tabletop jukeboxes that belt out tunes while you enjoy the décor.
Macaroni GrillThis is a favourite of my Mother and myself. It has a large open kitchen where you can see the chefs. It caters for families and has crayons and colouring on the table for the children.
They do great Italian food last time we went Mom and I shared the Shrimp and Artichoke Dip. This includes shrimp, artichokes and spinach topped with two types of cheese and it came with parmesan bread chips.
For entrees we both opted for Grilled Halibut in a delicious tomato type relish on a pine nut cheese risotto, it was a lovely meal.
Panera BreadIf you prefer to have a sandwich of your choice, salad or soup try Panera Bread their bread is always so fresh.
Wendy’sThe girls often eat here as the first time they came to America they had a Wendy’s burger and have talked about it ever since. They also serve salads.
Wherever you decide to eat at the Loop I am sure you will enjoy it.
