Downtown Disney The Market Place part 2
There are so many shops in The Market Place and they are all irresistible!
A small but lovely shop to visit is Mickeys Pantry which is attached to “The Earl Of Sandwich”. This shop is full of Disney tableware, cooking implements and Disney inspired food! Imagine eating pasta which is shaped like Mickeys head!! They also sell delicious conserves and even Winnie the Poohs “hunny” which is in a bottle shaped like Winnie himself.
Disneys “Days of Christmas” is an absolute joy of a shop for all who love Christmas. There are so many beautiful baubles, tinsel and decorations in general decorated in all of your favourite Disney characters that it is a hard struggle to choose which to buy. They also personalise some of the decorations for you with your name or the names of your family which become a lovely memento of a wonderful holiday. I challenge anyone to visit this shop even in the middle of a beautiful hot summer and not feel Christmassy – its impossible!
“The Art of Disney” is another lovely shop which sells beautiful Disney prints of all characters and if you are rich enough they sell fabulous framed limited pictures and lithographs of Mickey and all of his Disney friends.
If you or your child are avid Pin Traders then look no further than Disneys Pin Trading Headquarters where you can trade with other collectors or buy from a huge range of individual pins. This is another place which is a must for our son! We have always found the cast members at all stores to be great with children who are trading with them and several times our son has been given an extra one as well as the one he is trading for!
Another shop worth a mention is the”World of Disney” which is an enormous shop absolutely packed with all and every sort of Disney merchandise you can think of. There are clothes, toys, collectible items, picture frames etc.. in fact if you can think of it then they probably have it! If you have your own little princess with you then make sure you take your credit cards with you – they have every princess outfit imaginable with a variety of accessories that every princess must have!
Other shops include Disneys Wonderful World of Memories which stocks everything you may need for your photograph albums and scrap books, Poohs Corner which as it implies sells everything to do with our favourite little bear, Team Mickey for all your Disney sports clothing and equipment and many many more shops all waiting for you to pop in and have a browse.
There is something to please everyone in The Market Place and I’m sure that you will love it too!
