Do you have to be a child to enjoy Orlando part 2
Do you have to be a child to enjoy Orlando? ? Absolutely not. You do not even have to be a child to enjoy Disney World and all its parks. But for now let me tell you about some of the other parks that are just as much fun for adults as they are for children.
Universal Studios: all the grown ups love Jaws and The Terminator they are both a must for all lovers of the film series (and even those who have not even seen them). Then there is the Mummy Ride, very scary and full of loops and drops, the part of the ride which goes backwards extremely fast is pretty scary. Again if you have seen the film, it is even better. The Graveyard Rock Revue, is great if you like rock music. Sing along with Frankenstien, his bride and Beetlejuice, to mention but a few. A very funny joyful way of spending half an hour – and you get to sit down, bliss! !
Even grown ups love Shreck, you can join him in a 4d movie (that’s 3d with moving seats). And who doesn’t love The Simpsons, they have there own simulated roller coaster ride.
Over at the Island of Adventures, which is part of Universal, there is the brand new Wizarding World of Harry Potter – originally written for children, but read by adults all over the world, plus more roller coasters to turn you upside down and inside out, very stomach churning indeed. The Posieden Adventure is also a great interactive show which we particularly like and never miss each year.
So that’s two more days taken care of so how about some Water Theme Parks. Apart from the two at Disney World, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon and the one at Seaworld, Aquatica, there is the hugely popular Wet ‘n Wild (and arguably the best of them all). There are thrills and spills in one of the world’s largest water theme parks. From gentle water slides to incredibly fast almost vertical drops, you can take your choice or enjoy them all before resting for a while on the many sun loungers. You can just relax in the Lazy River if you prefer or laze round the huge wave machine pool and take the occasional ride when they call out, “Surfs Up”.
So with Disney World, Universal Studios and Wet ‘n Wild, you can have a very busy holiday without having to take a child.
