Dine your way around Disney’s Broadwalk
If you want to go somewhere specifically to eat, but are a little undecided as to what type of food and atmosphere you are looking for, then I can recommend trying Disney’s Broadwalk as a place to go, if you are looking for something a little above average on the whole, in going on the Broadwalk you will have access to not only several restaurants (and other dining options like Crepes on the Broadwalk itself), but also, from the Broadwalk you can access the 3 major Epcot resort hotel restaurants too! And don’t forget, there is an entrance to Epcot direct from here as well, giving you the added option of being able to pop in and see the Fireworks around the lake at 9pm! !
Though we have not actually eaten at all the varying restaurants available on the Broadwalk, we have tried a few over the years and hope to try a few more in the future. Those we have already been to, we do in fact visit again and again, as they either suit our budget or we just love the place, or indeed both! !
Big River Grille & Brewing Works (Broadwalk) Serves Lunch and dinner . Brew pub with an onsite Brewmaster creating specialty beers every day as you watch. Sandwiches, snacks and more. This one is a toughie to get in to
Cape May Café - bit special this one! (Beach and Yacht) Breakfast and dinner, they suggest priority seating for this one! ! An authentic New England clambake brought to life. Fresh steamed shellfish, beef, ribs, chicken, salads and desserts, and a Character breakfast with Goofy! ! !
Coral Café - (Dolphin Resort) Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast and dinner buffet available. Nightly bistro menu and kids menu. Sundays only they provide a Disney character breakfast!
ESPN club (Broadwalk) This has to be a family fav, especially one for the boys! ! What boy (old or young) won’t enjoy their grub, watching one of over 80 monitors with sport on, while they eat?
Lunch and dinner, burgers, sandwiches, s alads, with over 80 monitors so you don’t miss any sport action! ! !
Be warned…no soccor though!
Best dessert ever awaits, the Trohpy Cup! !
Flying Fish Café (Broadwalk) Award winning cuisine, and truly the finest fish dishes are served here! There are also beef and chops on the menu. Dinner only is served in this one and again priority seating is recommended. Probably not highly recommended for young children, but a real treat for the adults, without a doubt!
Spoodles (Broadwalk) Breakfast lunch and dinner, great breakfast fare here! Wood fired pizzas are to die for, as are the mediterranean specialities that are served in unique Tapas style for sharing tasty dishes with friends and family! Umm. . a real favourite with a larger group too! !
Kimonos (Dolphin Resort) This is one place I personally would love to try, but is NOT a family favourite, and to be fair, is geared more to a group of diners without children. In here, they only serve at dinner time, and have an authentic sushi bar, cocktails and from 9pm there is a karaoke bar nightly. Now that sounds like a bit of fun to me! !
So next time you would like a bit of a treat, take yourself off to the Broadwalk early evening, enjoy watching the sun go down, choose somewhere to eat, and soak up the atmosphere. You can even fit in a small amount of Disney shopping at the shop there. Disney never misses an opportunity, and neither should you! !
