Crescent Lakes Community
Crescent Lakes is ideally situated for your Florida stay as it’s within 15 mins of the Disney area but offers peace, quiet and is a great place to return to after a busy day at a theme park. There are shops, restaurants and supermarket within a few minutes but Crescent Lakes is located in a huge wildlife conservation area of many square miles.
Crescent Lakes is a home community which consists of lots of smaller communities, all named after flowers or trees:
- Heatherstone
- Laurel Run
- Jasmine Pointe
- Orchid Edge
- Dahlia Reserve
- Aster Cove
- Allamanda Grace
- Willow Bend
- Calla Lily Cove
And, in the middle of them all is Oak Park which is one of the recreational facilities consisting of a large grass area with a basketball court and a public BBQ facility so if you’re feeling energetic or wanting to have a picnic, it’s an ideal place The other recreational area has a newly equipped tot lot (or kiddies’ play area) with slides, swings, etc.
Crescent Lakes has plenty of local attractions like a petting farm, horse riding stables, wildlife reserve, Disney Wilderness Preserve and an airboat ride location. There are also some great golf courses nearby and fishing at nearby Lake Toho, which is famous for its big mouth bass.
There is a choice of several nearby super Wal*Marts along with large supermarkets but there are also local shops/stores, restaurants and garages/gas stations which sell all manner of supplies. Not far are two pharmacies which also sell food and supplies, one of them being open 24 hours.
The homes are very well spaced out, some overlook lakes or wildlife conservation land and Crescent Lakes was built by an award winning builder, so you know you’re going to rent a great home. Some of the homes are residential so you can meet the locals and some are rented for short term stays.
The homes available for rental all have their own private and fully screened swimming pool, just for your use and right outside your door. Some also have a jacuzzi/spa. All the homes come with a comprehensively furnished and equipped gourmet kitchen with everything you could need for preparing family meals if you wish. The homes are all individually owned and will therefore reflect their owners’ tastes in furniture, decoration and available amenities but they are all fully equipped to a very high standard for your stay.
So, not only will you be renting a great home at Crescent Lakes, you’ll also be within easy distance of the theme parks, along with many other amenities, but also some peace and quiet and some wildlife spotting – what more could you want from accommodation in Florida?
