Christmas Sale Shopping!!!!
Here’s a top tip for you shoppers out there.
Leave for your holiday with an empty suitcase or three.
When we were on holiday at Christmas we planned on doing our fair share of shopping. We had all talked about buying new trainers, jumpers, t-shirts etc, but nothing could prepare us for what we found on sale.
We visited Premium outlets with our spending money burning a hole in our pockets!
First stop was Timberland. My husband wanted some new boots so popped in for a look. He found 2 pairs of boots plus some casual trainers that he wanted, he then moved onto the clothing section. One coat later we moved around to belts and accessories. Several pairs of socks, a belt and a backpack later we joined the long queue. The reason for all of the purchases? Everything was 75% off the marked price.
We thought that this must just be a Timberland special offer, so we returned the bags to the car, and then went on Ralph Lauren. The same offer was on in there 75% off. So off we go again loading ourselves up with jumpers and jeans, pay and get change out of $100. 00!
This pattern continued at almost every shop we went to. We just could not believe how cheap it was. They were almost giving stuff away – Gap was next on the hit list and we went to town in there! ! !
We left with several large bags jammed with tops, shoes, hoodies etc etc and still only spent $150. 00
We were getting concerned at this point for 2 reasons.
1. we didn’t want to get stopped and customs due to overspending
2. we didn’t think we could fit everything in our suitcases
I am not a huge fan of shopping at home, but in Orlando I love it! The sun was shining, the sales were amazing and the clothes that we got for our money were unbelievable.
Florida is always cheap for clothes in my opinion, but Christmas was a whole new world for me.
My last stop at Premium outlets was the Gourmet Chef. If you have not visited this shop before and are into cooking, then you must visit it. They specialise in Kitchen equipment and cooking sauces. I bought a lovely serving plate with a snowman on it. Of course I did not want the plate to be lonely so I also bought the matching salt and pepper set, the butter knives and the candle holders.
All in all, shopping at Christmas is an event that is NOT to be missed!
