Champagne Sunday Brunch at Legends
If you are staying in a villa on the Highway 27, who not try a champagne Sunday brunch at Legends Golf Club.
Legends is a very well known golf club in the Orlando area and is situated on the Highway 27 just south of Clermont.
When we visit for Sunday Brunch, we always have a taxi to make sure we can relax and enjoy the champagne!
It is advisable to book in advance as the restaurant is a popular venue for both golfers and non golfers!
Sunday brunch is an all you can eat buffet and although the menu choice is not as varied as some of the hotels in the Orlando area offering Sunday Brunch, it is exceptionally good value and in very nice surroundings.
The restaurant itself is small and friendly. There is a bar on one side and the buffet is laid out opposite. There are panoramic windows overlooking the golf course plus an outside terrace.
Upon arrival you will be shown to your table and introduced to your server. The menu choices will be explained to you and you will then be asked for your drinks order. If you are going for the champagne option you pay for a glass, costing $3. Your glass is then refilled as many times as you like during the meal at no extra cost!
You can go up to the buffet as often as you like. Start with breakfast! The men in our party normally do!
There are various main course options including salads, fish, and meat options. There is also a carvery. A selection of vegetables, potatoes, rice and pasta are also on offer.
When you have had your fill of main course you can start on the deserts! There is a selection to choose from and to be honest I usually have a job to make room for one!
When you have finished eating you can have a coffee and you may want to take it outside on the terrace.
If you have time to kill before your taxi arrives have a browse in the golf pro shop – a must if you are a golfer.
When our taxi arrives it is a short journey back down the Highway 27 to our villa. Once back we take advantage of the pool deck to laze on the sun loungers and sleep off our lunch! A dip in the pool is also a favourite later in the afternoon but that is about as much exercise as we can muster after a long lazy and very enjoyable champagne brunch!
Cost of the brunch is less than $20 per head!
Enjoy!
