Cagan Crossings Update 2011
It is now a few years since Cagan Crossings was developed and it has seen some changes and now looks much more established. It is located on the 27 near its junction with the 192 in Clermont.
If you approach it from the 192(you head north) you will come to a new very large garage on your right and then the entrance to Walmarts. I do not need to tell fans of Walmart how long we spend in there. I have recently discovered you can go online with Walmarts order an item and they will ship it to the store of your choosing. Needless to say we always have to go to Walmarts to pick up our goods soon after arriving at the villa!
On this side of Walmarts you will also find a Lowes DIY store, a Starbucks drive -through as well as Chilli’s restaurant.
It is the opposite site of the Crossings called Town Center that has flourished in the last couple of years. Although some stores have closed those that are there now are becoming established.
There is an old fashioned Post Office where they are most helpful. We always used to get laminates for our villa done here but recently this service has moved to the Library nearby. You can just go and join the Library for a day, a week of whatever you require.
Anytime Fitness is open 24 hours a day all year long and in addition to keeping fit you can also get a tan. It is possible to join here on a weekly basis.
If you want Kosher food you can get this at Cohen’s Deli and Butchers shop.
At the NY Beauty Salon you can not only buy the usual beauty products but they also have a good selection of hair extensions and wigs.
Simka’s Sweets is a must for those with a sweet tooth with over 10 varieties of ice cream, ice cream cakes and sweets.
If you fancy Chinese food we have had a very good take away from China 2 and I believe their Sushi is equally as good. Although we have yet to do so I think it is possible to eat- in here as well.
I have heard very good reports of the Villagio Italian restaurant that opened in early 2011. Apparently they do a good delivery service do fabulous pizzas but to enjoy it properly guests have recommend you dine-in. This is on our list to “Places to Eat” on our next visit
For sports fans Gators Dockside is well worth a visit and there is usually a Happy Hour 3 to 7pm. There are large screens TVs as well as a games area for the younger ones and ribs, wings and seafood to enjoy.
If you haven’t visited Cagan Crossing recently I recommend you do.
